Annie earned her milk star in butterfat on test #5, and joins the ranks of our hard working girls. Good job you cranky thing, you.

13 of the 14 bred girls have passed their 21 day heat cycle and *whispers* everyone seems to be pregnant. Just waiting on one more tomorrow…….

Lastly, we are entering the time of year where milk production is loooooooooooow. So while we are still taking appointments, we will need a lot of notice, and even then if you need fresh we may have to reschedule. We ask for you patience.

Dora triple qualified for her milk star on this last test! She joins our other star milkers and we are very proud of our hard working girl.

We will be sending in milk pregnancy tests on Annie, Ariel, Audree, Poca, and Dora tomorrow. Blood will be drawn next week for pregnancy on everyone else (except late comers Zhaan and Phoenix who just got AI’d) and our annual CAE herd testing. Stay tuned for results!

Two new Updates for the farm!

1) We have started our breeding season, and will update the pairings as they are confirmed on our For Sale page. We have a google sheets that will stay updated with rough data of how far along each girl is and if we think the breeding took.

2) You can now book milk pick up at the farm through our new Setmore Account. Its easy and free, no credit card required, and keeps Katie Rose from pulling her hair out at the roots.

They started arriving Friday the 27th and it was almost 24 straight hours of babies arriving, getting cleaned up, fed, and put away safely when suddenly the next ones would arrive. 6 bucks and 2 does. We are keeping the does and one of the Bucks. Another buck is being wethered because of twisted ears, and the other four are yet to be determined what their testicular fate shall be
