That’s right, the barn now has a working hot water heater. Why do we need hot water in the barn? I’m so glad you asked!

• In the winter, goats will drink more if they have warm water, which prevent dehydration while they are growing those babies
• The Milking parlor will also include a small kitchen, including a sink and dishwasher for sanitizing milking equipment and jars.
• It keeps me (Kate) from lugging gallons of hot water to the barn, spilling half of it on myself in the process.

We got this point of use hot water heater from lowes. Its the same as the one in the old barn, and we are very happy with it.
